Specialist, Product Operations, Hologram Programs

Overview
The ESS Hologram product management team overseas Mastercard’s Global Hologram products. Our focus is on delivering a highly secure, high quality product to support Mastercard’s card security strategy. The team is responsible for providing these secure products to card manufacturers who produce cards on behalf of financial institutions. We manage the end to end operations of the Hologram & Premium Brand Mark programs, which includes the processing of product orders, the facilitation of services supplied by third party suppliers (our secure transportation and hologram supplier), product inventory management, and financial reporting.
The Product Management Team is an integral part of a cross functional team that works together to address any challenges affecting our customers throughout the value chain. We collaborate to enhance and align quality control procedures, card security, card design and rules requirements; and move to implement these changes within our operations and with all stakeholders.

Role
• Provide operational support in managing customer and hologram supplier engagement regarding hologram ordering processing, oversight of shipping services and exceptional customer support
• Identify, develop and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and streamline operational procedures
• Manage and drive 100% compliance with export control procedures by monitoring accuracy in export classifications, record retention requirements and data entry of export transactions into the OCR database
• Study customer/market trends from a global and regional perspective to support forecasting and budgeting models
• Manage accounts payable and receivables; validate shipping invoices and hologram receipt applications
• Perform financial and month end close procedures; billings, journal entry accruals, etc.
• Perform customer and inventory account reconciliations and solve complex discrepancies
• Drive strategic thought leadership around hologram products
• Perform various ad-hoc reporting, analysis or projects, as needed

All About You:
• Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field preferred


Experience/Knowledge:
• Self-starter and problem solver who thrives with challenging tasks
• Capable of multi-tasking and successfully meeting tight timelines
• Exceptional financial skills (forecast/budgeting/journal entries/reconciliation) and understanding of Oracle Financials system
• Good analytical, planning and organizational skills
• Lead and manage simple to moderately complex special projects, as needed
• Experience in process improvements projects and willing to take a leadership role in driving operational process improvements (Green Belt a plus)
• Excellent PC skills including Access, Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint
• Customer service oriented with ability to communicate effectively and able to develop strong working relationships internally and externally - across multiple levels
• Excellent written and oral communications
