Specialist Network Support (Government)

Candidate will be responsible for providing management and technical support for AT&T Global Business Solutions National Security/Emergency Preparedness Control Center (NS/EP CC). This position requires the individual possess an extensive technical background along with project management experience. Broad ranging technical knowledge of specialized services GETS and SRAS in both the TDM and VoIP networks. The individual must also ensure the NS/EP CC team develops the technical proficiency to continue operating effectively after changes in personnel. This position must hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance.




Technical Support Administration

  • Supervise the teams responsible for the provisioning and maintenance processes of the NS/EP CC.
  • Direct staff in assessing impact situations and crafting solutions effecting the Government Emergency Telecommunications Service (GETS) in the AT&T network.

Telecommunication Services
  • Assist Control Center manager in updating CC Methods and Procedures, SRAS OA&M & Test Plans, MRT Cleanup while educating the Occupational Staff on the basics of GETS/SRAS in VoIP.
  • Consult/advises stakeholder groups on NS/EP issues of network readiness, trouble shooting and analysis, fraud and abuse, and performance monitoring. - Training of new systems being deployed to support GETS & SRAS in AT&T's VoIP network.
  • Coordinates meetings and presentations with Customers, Vendors and other AT&T organizations.

Planning & Management
  • Ensure all Contract Deliverables are prepared and delivered on time.
  • Plans, coordinates and participates on all service development efforts for implementation of new hardware or software features that impact GETS/SRAS.
  • Interfaces with GETS Technical Team to identify, interpret and design operating support systems to meet delivery and feature maintenance schedules in both TDM and VoIP networks.
  • Project Management skills a must.

Required Skills, Certification, Experience, and Education: Minimum of 2 years experience in Telecom Industry troubleshooting and problem solving.

Required Clearance: Possess DOD Secret or be able to obtain.

Desired: BS in Technical Communications, Project Management or Computer Science
