Senior Product Specialist, NAM Enterprise Security Solutions

The North America Enterprise Security Solutions (ESS) team is responsible for Mastercard’s safety and security related product development and sales efforts in the North America Region. The products that we support help to protect the integrity of the Mastercard network as well as ensure payments are simple, safe and secure. The products are primarily focused on fraud prevention, risk mitigation and dispute resolution across all payment channels as well as all Mastercard stakeholders; issuers, acquirers, merchants, processors and consumers.

The Senior Specialist, Market Product Management Role will: (1) serve as the SME for ESS solutions across all stakeholders in the ecosystem, including both internal and external constituents (2) consult with customers and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement in products, processes or solutions, based on data-driven insights and analysis and (3) support go-to-market (GTM) efforts for specific Mastercard ESS solutions within the North American Region to existing customers and prospects.

• The position will be part of the NAM ESS Market Product Management team, which is focused on supporting the enablement and sales of Mastercard Security & Decision products within the Enterprise Security Solutions product family to customers and prospects while working closely with internal business partners to develop opportunities to increase Mastercard share of business.
• This role will focus on the brining new solutions to market and acting as the subject matter expert (SME) in support of sales efforts and market launches for new and existing ESS solutions.
• Accountabilities are to support and grow Mastercard and customer revenues through the introduction and optimization of new and existing security and decision solutions.
• This is role will work in a collaborative environment, requiring some customer-facing responsibilities as well as strong internal partnership skills.
• Support and coordinate with CAMs and Global Product and Solutions (GP&S) to develop compelling business cases and deliver quantifiable solutions for customers and prospects based on customer and/or market needs and requirements.
• Represent voice of customer by communicating market feedback and opportunities to GP&S with the goal of refining existing solutions and developing new solutions to meet market needs and address customer pain points

• Experience in financial services or payments fraud/risk business preferred
• Demonstrated ability to act with a persistent and relentless sense of urgency
• Strong analytical skills
• Understanding of product development and market management
• Project management and/or solution delivery experience
• Understanding of payments technology and application of that knowledge to address customer/market needs
• Self-starter, highly organized, collaboration minded and results driven
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Overnight travel required (20%)
• Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferable)
