Senior Recruiting Coordinator


Cox Enterprises is seeking a Senior Recruiting Coordinator who will work closely with the Executive Search team to support all administrative processes relevant to enterprise Executive Search. The Senior Recruiting Coordinator must perform well under pressure in a fast-paced, high-touch executive environment.  The Sr. Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a seamless and compliant interview and selection process for each open executive-level position enterprise-wide (Cox Enterprises, Cox Communications, Cox Media Group, and Cox Automotive). In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the administrative recruiting methodology and processes are consistent and equitable across all Cox divisions for executive-level roles.  Sr. Recruiting Coordinator takes the lead on projects for the team or represents the Recruiting Coordinator team as core project member on CTA initiatives. He/she is responsible for partnering with recruiters and coordinators while adhering to compliance recruitment practices and processes.

  • Support the interview scheduling logistics of assigned requisitions both volume and professional positions, ensuring an efficient and effective service is delivered to the business
  • Expense management for all contract Recruiting Coordinator’s recruiting-related expenses, such as candidate travel, search fees, etc.
  • Coordinate all elements of candidate interview logistics including sending meeting invites, booking rooms, organizing Video Conferencing, Skype and dial in details
  • Track, update and maintain candidate data in applicant tracking system (ATS) daily
  • Act as an efficient partner to the Recruiter and Hiring teams
  • Open confidential requisitions, coordinate weekly update calls, schedule interviews, process offers, and assist with first day logistics for new hires.
  • Supports and coordinates completion and collection of pre-hire paperwork, to include: signed offer letters, relocation and sign-on bonus agreements, and other relevant documents
  • Provides information about the company to candidates and Hiring Managers if needed
  • Manages applicant tracking requirements and related documentation to ensure compliance with OFCCP regulations and reduce risk to the company
  • Serves as point of contact for Hiring Managers and Interviewers regarding candidate interview schedules and rescheduling of interviews
  • Create interview specific documents, collect and compile applicant feedback, and coordinate Executive Assessment debrief sessions, as appropriate


Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years related human resource, recruiting coordination experience or 3 years of related customer service experience
  • Minimum of 2 years functioning as a recruiting coordinator supporting a recruiting team
  • Excellent customer service, communication skills, and impeccable follow through required
  • Excellent ability coordinating meetings/interviews with multiple executives across the enterprise, frequently in different time zones
  • Ability to provide exceptional, consistent customer service to internal and external clients
  • Self-directed problem solver with a desire to contribute to the organization’s reputation and success
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently, professionally, efficiently and follow through on multiple work initiatives at one time
  • Holds 4-year college degree or equivalent knowledge & experience
  • Demonstrates recruiting coordination expertise with experience coaching best practices
  • Must be professional, positive, ethical, results oriented and analytical in their approach to the position
  • Must have strong communication (both written and oral) skills and able to effectively collaborate with all levels of candidates and all personnel
  • Candidate must be very detail oriented and customer satisfaction focused
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment
  • Able to act as back-up for Lead, Recruiting Coordinator
  • Must be proficient in MS Office especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong understanding of standard recruiting best practices and procedures
