 to join our Lender Solutions team in Lake Success, NY.

Job Summary:

The Senior Business Operations Manager is responsible for driving delivery of multiple initiatives with the overall objective of aligning projects and resources with the business goals and strategies. This role works closely with the Vice President, Lender Financial Services to lead the product owners, technology teams, and business stakeholders in translating the business strategy into a business plan and portfolio of projects that will help drive higher lender satisfaction and profitable growth.

Strategic Definition

  • Work with the leadership team to refine and communicate the Lender Solutions value proposition
  • Capture input from lender surveys, client feedback, and leadership with the goal of synthesizing and creating a cohesive product strategy
  • Partner with Sales, Product subject matter experts and the lender product strategist to gain first-hand understanding on our clients’ experience with our solutions
  • Identify client experience baselines and targets
  • Create/Refine analysis and Decision Making Framework to outline our current position in the market and clearly define what our next level of focus will be

Portfolio and Program Management  

  • Lead the ongoing process for creating executive level program updates
  • Develop and execute communication strategies to ensure program activities, accomplishments, issues, and risks are communicated to executive management, operations executives, project stakeholders, and IT teams proactively
  • Act as the escalation point for the program and actively remove impediments to assist in driving issues to closure
  • Effectively influence and solve problems with clear business focus and strong relationship-building skills
  • Work with the Vice President/Product technology leaders to optimize program results by providing transparency
  • Use good business judgment to make timely decisions around priorities, resource allocation and trade off options
  • Build a strong network across solution teams and technology teams and/or locations to facilitate timely issue resolution and help ensure project success

Portfolio Planning and Alignment

  • Play a leadership role across the broader operations and technology team(s) ensuring alignment to the Business Plans / Strategies, Resources, and Budgets
  • Lead business review team to drive focus and accountability for fixing the most impactful client experience gap
  • Orchestrate improvements across the client life cycle within the Lending Solution business units 
  • Operationally lead analysis and reporting related to strategic initiatives
This position is based in Lake Success, NY, but we will consider remote candidates from Dallas, Atlanta and Wilmington, OH.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of experience in strategic definition, portfolio planning/prioritization and alignment
  • Ability to develop and apply a thorough knowledge of the industry and competitive activity, both nationally and at the local level, translating this knowledge into appropriate plans and programs
  • Maintain strong, current technology and operations knowledge and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a variety of groups
  • Lead via influence by engendering trust and personal responsibility in all relationships
  • Work cross-functionally with boundary partners to affect change and cultivate a positive business climate by focusing on successful partnership and collaboration in delivery of business goals  
  • Demonstrate the flexibility necessary to adjust to changing/additional duties and responsibilities as the markets and the company changes.
