Senior Associate, Audit (Santa Clara, California) (Multiple Positions)

Execute the day-to-day activities of audit engagements of various clients, including Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registrants. Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to managers and partners. Identify performance improvement opportunities. Interact with clients to help ensure the information flow from the client to the audit team is efficient.

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline from an accredited college/university or foreign equivalent and two (2) years in the offered position or in a related occupation. Of the experience required, must have one year of experience in: Engaging in the planning and performance of year-end audits and quarterly reviews of public and non-public companies within the High-Tech, Services, and Consumer electronics sectors; performing test work over a wide range of audit areas, including revenue, equity, fixed assets, payroll, operating expenses and inventories, in support of Financial Statement and Integrated Audits; reviewing SEC reports (Forms 10-K and 10-Q), including quantitative review of financial statements for compliance with U.S Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and analytical review of management discussion and analysis; and analyzing business processes to identify risks and conduct test work over key controls to assess design adequacy and operating effectiveness in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley Act, Section 404.

Travel up to 5% of the time is required.
