in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will use your strong organizational and problem-solving skills to assist with key health and welfare plan initiatives. You will also help shape creative communication, education and engagement strategies to encourage our employees, retirees and dependents to become engaged health plan consumers. You possess broad health plan and vendor management knowledge. You are a strong, creative and succinct writer. You like to look at things from all angles and will bring a fresh, continuous improvement lens to existing approaches and getting work done. You have great attention to detail - yet can see the bigger picture. You can create and manage a project plan. You are high-energy, fun, resilient and optimistic.
Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree preferred 5+ years of Benefits and/or Communications experience Excellent written and verbal communications skills Strong critical thinking, collaboration, engagement, influencing and project management skills Demonstrated use of creative and innovative communication approaches to advance our employee value proposition and our benefits strategy Understanding of effective vendor management principles and practices Advanced health and welfare benefits analytical and problem-solving skills preferred CEBS or other Benefits certification preferred Ability to travel to company facilities and on other company business as needed (estimated 15% or less of time).
