Senior Administrative Assistant

Monsanto is seeking a dedicated, highly motivated, and career-oriented Senior Administrative Assistant to support our Commercial Strategy and Performance organization located in St. Louis, MO (Creve Coeur). This position will work with multiple managers within the organization and has significant interaction with Monsanto teams in St. Louis and around the world.
Successful candidates must have the ability to perform a wide variety of administrative support tasks, including: multiple calendar management; coordination of international and domestic meetings and travel arrangements; processing of expense reports, SAP invoice processing, and service entries against invoices; supporting shipping and receiving processes; planning and coordinating group meetings and events; operating copiers, fax machines, printers; and ordering supplies. Successful candidates must be able to handle multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines while responding to emails and voicemails in a timely manner. This role requires the ability to take responsibility for special projects as assigned and use of experience and seasoned judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple Outlook calendars and contacts simultaneously
  • Make domestic and international travel arrangements using Concur or similar travel management system
  • Manage passports and visa applications/renewals (U.S. and multiple nationalities)
  • Organize and coordinate all logistics for on and off-site meetings/conference calls/events across the globe working with internal and external parties
  • Prepare high-quality, executive level PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and monthly reports
  • Process expense reports, invoices, and receipts
  • Handling interview process, including travel, expenses
  • Establishing and maintaining record-keeping systems
  • Manage special projects as assigned such as calendar and meeting support for the Commercial Strategy and Performance Leadership Team.

Required Skills/Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience as a senior level administrative professional with experience supporting large teams
  • Experience scheduling domestic and international travel using Concur or similar travel management system
  • Must be advanced user of Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Experience with SAP
  • Positive attitude and self-motivation are essential
  • Strong communication, relationship and teaming skills
  • Execute assigned tasks efficiently with strong attention to detail while delivering high-quality of service
  • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple tasks and projects
  • Capable of taking on tasks with minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment in performing such tasks and complete them in a quick and efficient manner
  • Excellent time management, organizational ability, and strong agility skills
Desired Skills/Experience:
  • Associate's and/or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field
  • Experience managing passport and visa applications/renewals process via G3 or similar visa/passport service provider
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in SharePoint team site maintenance
