At this time, U.S. Bank is aggressively recruiting additional talent to support the Freight Payment Sales Team. The qualified individual will alleviate some of the work currently done by sales reps as well as elevate their ability to sell by improving the tools at their disposal. This is an outstanding career opportunity with unlimited growth and development potential for the right person!  Below is a brief overview of the position responsibilities and the qualifications we are seeking in candidates. 
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Support Contracting Process: Act as liaison between Sales Reps and Contracts, Credit, Risk & Finance teams as needed.   Submit and manage follow-up on associated requests from Sales through on-line tool Connex.   
    • Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) negotiations - Contracts
    • Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements with supporting documentation - Risk & Control
    • Credit requirements with supporting documentation  - Credit
    • Pricing requests and pricing committee approval form preparation - Finance and Product
  • Support Proposal Process:       Act as liaison between sales reps and Proposals, Solution Engineering and Relationship Management
    • Submit and manage Proposal requests via Intranet tool. 
    • Maintain and update RFP response material on Intranet database - based on most recent RFP responses and new product service offerings
    • Prepare presentation material as required for RFP responses and follow-on meetings
    • Maintain and update customer reference database - gathering/creating ever more stories to be used in sales process
  • Support Sales Pipeline Management -
    • Help sales reps maintain an accurate pipeline within CRM tools (currently in Siebel and spreadsheets but soon to be in Sales Force)
    • Create sales reports within Sales Force as needed for use by management


 
Qualifications
  Required Skills:
            Bachelor's level degree (prefer business or marketing degree)
            3 years of relevant, experience in a similar role
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Proficient in Sales Force including report creation
  • Well organized with ability to multi-task
  • Must have good people skills to foster collaboration across functional departments
  • Experience utilizing Business Intelligence reporting tools a plus
