Risk Management Consumer Health

The primary responsibilities of this role, Risk Management Consumer Health, are to: 


  • Lead all Consumer Health (CH) including Animal Health activities in regards to Internal Control System (ICS)  tracking and testing;
  • Lead all CH Compliance monitoring activities;
  • Design, develop and deliver in collaboration with the Compliance Team training to Consumer Science (CS) employees related to Travel, Gifts and Entertainment (TG&E) policies;
  • Partner with CH business in issue management regarding TG&E, initiate internal Audit and communicate findings to CH Management;
  • Collaborate with other Divisional and Functional Risk Management (RM) Specialists process improvement potentials and propose policy improvements;
  • Serve as CH Travel Champion as active member of the US Travel and Entertainment (T&E) Steering Committee;
  • Support CH business in Compliance, Audit, Risk Management (CARM) / Enterprise Risk management (ERM) process and guide business in process related questions;
  • Support CH business in process design to ensure that ICS requirements are fulfilled;
  • Ensure correctness of all required ICS documentation and provides training of process owners and control testers on the ICS tracking software;
  • Support all internal and external Audits;
  • Ensure availability of required documents to support Audit activities;
  • Mediate between Audit team and Business during and after the Audit;
  • Lead the follow up process after Audit and track of implementation of Audit recommendations;
  • Collaborate with other Divisional and Functional ICS Specialists to seek opportunities to align and/or improve processes with a special focus on a functional process.

Required Qualifications:


  • This position requires a B.A./B.S. in Business, Finance, or related field with twelve (12) plus years of applicable experience, with eight (8) plus years experience in process oriented function;
  • The position operates in an independent manner with little supervision and oversight and therefore must be self-directed and proactive with an ability to prioritize activities and make sound decisions in a complex environment;
  • Strong organization and communication skills with ability to work at all levels and functions of the organizations;
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, ambiguous matrix structure while maintaining customer orientation and business support;
  • Strong analytical skills – analytical evaluation of large amounts of information and problem solving ability;
  • Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks to ensure that all complex requirements are achieved in time;
  • Attention to detail and follow through.
