Job Description

Wells Fargo Commercial Real Estate (CRE), an industry leader, provides a comprehensive platform of financing and banking solutions to regional and national owners, operators and developers, public and private REITs, and real estate investment management and private equity firms.

Responsible for a handling all aspects of client liaison except those involving negotiations on pricing or structuring of financing.

Duties include:

Preparing investment proposals for senior staff; structuring and executing transactions for senior staff;

Developing and maintaining client relationships with some sources of loan demand;

Working with a senior team in structuring loans and preparing recommendations for the most critical/complex clients.

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following, and adhering to and if applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relationship management experience, commercial real estate experience, or a combination of both

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience developing and maintaining client relationships
  • Experience generating revenue and actively participating in the successful completion of complex transactions
  • Ability to apply sound judgment in the application of analytical conclusions to credit approval, structure, and management recommendations
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
