Professional Data Analysis - (Business Intelligence Developer)

Location:  Dallas, TXPurpose:The ideal candidate will help us accelerate a data driven culture applying the latest quantitative and qualitative analysis of structured/unstructured data sets incorporating the final results as visualizations into our existing Business Intelligence platform.  Candidate will also be responsible for design, develop, and implementation of these business intelligence solutions.  Candidate should be committed to constant development of themselves and others, willing to enable and train end users to self-serve data and build dashboards from our existing Business Intelligence platform.  Innovation and forward thinking are highly encouraged to propel and transform Advanced Analytics & Insights Marketing to the next level of Modern BI.Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Design, implement, and maintain Dashboards, visualizations, and supporting data analysis layers
  • Provide technical assistance/training to users pulling data from our self-service environment
  • Integrate internal and external data sources into data visualization software
  • Participate in project planning, milestone identifications, and resource requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple in-coming requests simultaneously and operate in a fast-paced, high-growth professional environment
  • Conduct exploration, evaluation, and delivery of new technologies, techniques, and tools to advance the capabilities of the team
Education:  Preferred Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, or Sciences; Data Analytics Nano-degree; or equivalent experience. Experience: Typically requires 3-5 years’ experience.Supervisory:  No

Qualifications to be Successful:

  • 3+ years of applied experience in Data Analytics/Business intelligence developing and supporting Dashboards, documents, and Visualizations (MicroStrategy experience Preferred)
  • Strong Data Analytics Capabilities: Including Sourcing, extracting, transforming, and wrangling large data sets.
  • Experience with Aster, Teradata, Oracle 9i/10g, SQL Server, and Microsoft Office preferred
  • ETL experience especially Alteryx is desired
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
