Product Director, Market & Payer Access

The Product Director, Market & Payer Access will oversee the development and implementation of payer & other strategic customer strategies for a product currently in development for Treatment Resistant Depression. Responsibilities include the development of innovative payer and delivery model coverage market access strategies, designing and implementing resources to drive market access and proactively partnering with the SCG Managed Markets Payer team as well as the CNS field sales team to achieve short-term and long-term business objectives. This position will lead the access and strategy work stream, working closely with CNS Mood Brand Marketing, Sales Leadership, HECOR, Strategic Customer Group (SCG) Field, Trade, Access Services and Pricing to collect key customer insights, develop strategic recommendations and design and implement all pull through tactics across a range of key customer groups to ensure commercial success of the product. This position is a high visibility position with exposure to multiple layers of Sr. Management.

Key job activities include:

  • Collect customer insights and analyze key marketplace trends in order to conceive and develop innovative marketing strategies and resources including but not limited to the value prop for SCG Managed Markets Team
  • Ensure payer coverage and reimbursement for the product; work with Sr. leadership and field teams to customize marketing solutions for specific regional and national customer opportunities
  • Work with business and managed markets analytics to attain deep customer and market insights
  • Anticipate market and competitive trends and define strategies, positioning, and plans to allow company to successfully compete; participate in Brand Business Planning and support all work-streams related to access and reimbursement.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Pharmaceutical Science or a related field is required.
  • An MBA is preferred.
  • A minimum of 7 years of business experience is required.
  • Four years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Managed Care, Account Management, Pricing and/or related fields is required.
  • Practical knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing that includes FDA regulatory and legal environment and HCC regulations is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of psychiatry brands and depression therapeutic area and prior product launch experience is preferred.
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects is required.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) are required.
  • Prior people management experience is preferred.
  • The ideal candidate must have a demonstrated a track record of business results, a sense of urgency and big picture orientation with attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork, collaboration and communication skills required.
  • Ability to influence large/diverse teams without direct authority is required.
  • This candidate must effectively manage multiple agencies and internal stakeholders, communicate clearly and concisely, deliver all projects within budget, and assess project impact on driving results.
  • This position is based in Titusville, NJ and requires up to 25% domestic travel.
