Processing Technician - Park 500 in Chester, VA

Philip Morris USA's role is to responsibly manufacture and market Philip Morris USA brands to adult tobacco consumers in a financially disciplined way.

We are currently seeking entry level Processing Technicians to join us at our Park 500 facility in Chester, Virginia.

*Placement will be primarily for the Chester, VA location with a possibility that there will be openings at the Richmond, VA location.

Philip Morris USA is planning to hire a number of entry level Processing Technicians to support production operations at Park 500. Entry level Processing Technicians are primarily responsible for handling and moving materials and supporting the production operations.

Examples of job responsibilities are:

Requirements:
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States and for Philip Morris USA
  • Able to work a rotating shift schedule or a fixed schedule that will include weekends and holidays
  • Able to consistently report to work on time
  • Able to work overtime as required up to and including 12-16 hour days
  • Able to work in hot or cold conditions and in dusty or dirty work environments. Most of the working conditions are not climate controlled.

Wages progress from $17.36 an hour to a current top rate of $21.70 per hour over four years. Additional compensation may be available through our manufacturing incentive program.
