This is an entry-level role that will work under the direction of our team's senior developers.

We are looking for a candidate that has a basic understanding of development techniques and the software development life cycle.   In this role, you'll further development your PL/SQL development skills for the Enterprise Collections and Recovery (ECaR) System that is responsible for servicing multiple business units including:  Wells Fargo Financial, Personal Credit Management, Home Equity, Business Direct, Credit Management Group, Employee Finance Services and/or Credits Services.  Other tasks include application maintenance/support and working on an on-call pager rotation w/in the team.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Other support tasks to include performing production ticket research/analysis/resolution
  • Develop enhancements by collaborating and validating customer requirements
  • Documenting technical designs, perform coding
  • Documenting and executing complete unit test plans, provides test support
  • Identifying and managing development tasks, documenting implementation plan and supporting post production implementation

Please note: The site availability for these roles are at the following Wells Fargo locations in San Francisco CA (preferred) and Charlotte NC (preferred). We will also entertain candidates in Phoenix AZ and Des Moines IA.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of application development and implementation experience
  • 2+ years of PL/SQL experience
  • 2+ years of SQL experience
  • 2+ years of Oracle experience
  • 1+ year of UNIX experience

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
  • Experience drafting use cases and test scripts
  • Autosys experience
  • Java experience
  • Perl or Shell experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of Shaw, ACAPS, FDR, ECaR, and/or other Consumer Lending applications
  • Exposure to Wells Fargo PAC2000 -WF's ticketing system based on Remedy application



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle using Agile, Iterative and/or Waterfall methodologies
  • Strong background in business consulting and analysis
