A Media Strategy Coordinator will provide assistance to the Media Strategy team in various aspects of their day-to-day responsibilities.  The ideal candidate will uphold the spirit of strategic, creative and outside-the-box approaches to digital advertising that Gamut infuses in its media solutions.  This professional will support the planning and sales teams throughout every stage of a campaign life cycle, from quote to collect.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate both the ability to work well with clients and multiple team members while quickly mastering complex logistics of media planning and campaign management.  


Responsibilities:
  • Support a team of Media Strategists, Account Executives and Digital Sales Specialists
  • Help to input and revise orders
  • Spearhead special projects such as updating inventory database
  • Acquire or mock-up screenshots for outgoing proposals and active campaigns
  • Work closely with publishers to keep an up-to-date database of spec sheets
  • Create and maintain internal templates with important info such as rates, contact lists, available products, capabilities etc.
  • Assist the Strategist in filling out planning templates, decks, or any other materials that will facilitate the sales process.
  • Act as a liaison between Media Strategy and Campaign Management.  
  • Assist in reaching out to publishers for inventory avails/rates
  • Maintain an active awareness on new trends and growth within interactive media
  • Work directly with internal departments to iron out campaign issues, performance and structure.
  • Responsible in assisting with the preparation of sales proposals and sales presentations to Media Planners/Buyers in a timely manner, which may require extensive formatting utilizing Power Point, Word or Excel.


Qualifications

We are looking for individuals who possess above average capabilities within the following skillsets/behaviors:
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing concepts and practices  • Analytically driven to make strategic decisions • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint  • Effective time management and organizational skills, as well as strong attention to detail • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising or related field is preferred.  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive requests. A refined sense of urgency is a major plus. • The ability to multitask and “do what it takes” attitude. • Ability to work well under pressure with deadlines  • Must be a team player!
Bonus Points:
• Preferable experience in online media, post sales consulting and/or project management.  • Knowledge of the online advertising industry and ad serving technologies is a big plus.
