Mechanical Engineer

We are now looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team and lead the way to enabling a whole new world of connected functionality. This will will be responsible for designing systems driving new technology in our seed R&D business. You will assume hands on ownership of generating requirements, working with a team, selecting components, creating a prototype, testing, and taking a product to deployment. This person will be able to be the lead mechanical engineer on a small multi-discipline team.

Required Skills/Experience:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of engineering experience
  • 3+ years experience with SolidWorks or ProE solid modeling software
Desired Skills/Experience:
  • Experience designing mechanical systems from concept to prototype to deployment
  • Experience making engineering drawings for production
  • Experience designing pneumatic systems
