Market President - Commercial

Job Description
As the Market President (MP), you will have overall responsibility for the leadership and management of a particular market. In this role, you will handle the full range of commercial and retail banking activities, with direct responsibility for the RVPs in the market in conjunction with Commercial Lending Teams, while working in close partnership with the SVP-Retail and other senior retail leadership.

You will also be responsible for our commercial lending teams and retail branch offices (stores), by expanding the bank’s recognition in the community.
Job Requirements
Depth & Scope

• You will be directly responsible for the direct management of RVPs, in relation to the Commercial Lending Teams, and the partnership with SVP-Retail and RMMs.
• Protect TD's assets through the proper execution and administration of operational and risk management policies and procedures in compliance with the mandates of the Board of Directors and the law.
• Welcome and execute the strategies for profitable growth of deposits, loans, fees as well as selling bank products and services.
• Protects quality service policies for commercial customers (external and internal), ensuring continued satisfaction and loyalty.
• Provide strategic and tactical direction within the market and at the corporate level regarding credit, reputation, and delivery.
• Make prospect and Customer calls to businesses with Lenders on the most complex deals.
• Develops new business mainly through a wide network of referral sources.
• Responds to high-level Customer complaints.
• Dedicatedly promote partnerships with lines of business.
• Handle a $5 Billion portfolio.
• 4-year degree or equivalent experience
• 15+ Years of related experience
• Deep understanding of commercial lending and portfolios.
• Natural people leader with validated expertise hiring and developing talent.
• Excellent Customer orientation, social and organizational skills.
