Analyze and optimize Supply Chain networks strategically (suppliers, production, warehouses, customers) under consideration of risks, duties & taxes, regulations, inventories as well as macro-economic, political, technology and logistics service markets developments
Screen external developments and translate into opportunities and risks for BASF’s Supply Chain network
Prepare screening, analysis and, optimization/scenario results into stakeholder presentations
Discuss screening, analysis and, optimization/scenario results with stakeholders
Define standards for strategic, tactical and operational network design

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…
Bachelor Degree is required. A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain management, Logistics or Engineering preferred. Master's degree or above a plus.
Minimum 7 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management or Logistics.
Experience in dealing with colleagues in various global regions required
20% domestic travel is required
Knowledge of International and Domestic Transport and Distribution Markets required.
Demonstrated entrepreneurial drive; must have strong analytical skills
