Manager, Market Product Manager, Mastercard Send

Overview:
U.S. Digital Payment (DP) & Labs Product Management organization leads the company in innovating payment products and services using new technologies, channels and customer segments. U.S DP Product Management leads the development and deployment of Mastercard products and services to the market and holds direct accountability for the end to end customer experience in the lifecycle of the product and the customers. This includes dynamic consultation and management of both business and technical facets for Product Management and leading both internal and external partners towards successful execution.


Role:
The role involves two primary responsibilities; one is managing the life cycle aspects of the Mastercard Send service covering both Person to Person Payment services and Disbursements Services serving customers in the U.S market and the second is to help launch X-border service in the U.S Market

Optimize Personal Payments for maximizing Net Revenues
• Prioritize routing across P2P and disbursements to maximize Revenue
• Negotiate with 3rd party networks for reducing costs
• Compliance plan to ensure close to 100% utilizing MasterCard assets
Detailed reporting of U.S Personal Payment business
• Revenue tracking by customer and by use cases
• Profitability reporting by customers
• Traffic distribution of P2P and Disbursements traffic
• Exception reporting on declines and failures by Issuers and plan for resolution
Market Research
• Identify new capabilities needed by existing customers and new verticals
• X-border Payments
Deal Management
• Custom deal process requiring Product Management input
• Organize approved custom deals and measure against actuals
Compliance plans and outreach program
• Manage new capabilities mandates
• Issuer outreach for compliance
Build X-border infrastructure
• Launch of X-border Payment in the U.S. Market
• Market Readiness preparing Sales materials, Price sheets,
Other
• Develop and maintain internal and external documentation and processes that advance Mastercard Send services Products and support goals
• Work collaboratively with Internal Regional and Global teams to support business initiatives


All about You:
• Demonstrated experience in financial services and/or related industry verticals with strong knowledge of payments business
• Expert in Product Management discipline
• Previous experience in Treasury Services and in ACH, CHIPs, SWIFT, FedWire
• Extensive, proven project management, problem solving, analytical and planning skills with a demonstrated record of success managing multiple projects with external and internal clients
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams internally and externally against client projects ranging from four to twelve months in duration
• Ability to quickly engage and influence business and technical partners
• Ability to build and maintain strong, positive working relationships at all functional levels essential
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to thrive and effectively collaborate in a team environment
• Have superior, demonstrated external client relationship management skills
• Process Improvement experience, a plus
• Individual must be competent to analyze business needs and develop a course of action that effectively integrates technical components and business components and organize a solution process that includes appropriate cross-organizational participation yielding quantifiable results for Mastercard and our client(s)
• Travel will be required (up to 15%)
