The Manager, Global Consolidations & Reporting (GCRG) will be responsible for assisting in the management of the Global month-end close process for select regions and the Global Elimination entities, as well as ensuring that all monthly SOX documentation is prepared timely and accurately. He/she will be responsible for providing accounting and reporting support to management and the regional Finance teams and assist in purchase accounting for newly acquired entities, as well as assisting in the integration of such newly acquired entities. He/she will also be responsible for providing various reports to Finance management as well as various corporate groups (Internal and External Reporting) and will participate on various special accounting related projects. Additionally, he/she will be involved with helping to develop accounting policies and ensuring regional compliance.

Responsibilities

Global Analysis & Reporting

  • Manage the month-end close process for select regions and the Global Elimination entities and ensure that all monthly SOX documentation is prepared timely and accurately. Ensure all follow-up items are resolved and documented on a timely basis.
  • Support the business units on US GAAP accounting issues and provide accounting and reporting guidelines to the regional Finance teams.
  • Review various detailed analyses related to the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements and be able to identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Consolidations
  • Manage the consolidation and reporting of select regions of the Wyndham Exchange & Rentals consolidation including financial statement trend analysis and identification and resolution of non-routine transactions.
  • Review Monthly Reporting packages to be distributed to Senior Management.
  • Complete/Review Monthly and Quarterly Deliverables to Wyndham Corporate including submission of actuals in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Balance Sheet variance analysis.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Ensure that processes and controls are documented and operating in a manner compliant with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
  • Develop and implement controls, process enhancements, and accounting policies in connection with Wyndham Exchange & Rentals accounting and reporting structure and ensure regional compliance.
  • Monitor the monthly Chart of Accounts process for select regions.
  • Assist with purchase accounting for newly acquired entities and their integration subsequent to acquisition.
  • Monitor relationship with internal/external auditors to ensure that all documentation required for audit review is accurate and complete.
  • Complete special projects and analysis as requested by senior management.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, CPA required
  • Minimum of 7-10 years experience, a mix of progressive experience in Public accounting, as well as in Private Accounting
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and strong analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Hyperion/HFM preferred
  • Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
