Lender Development Director


Description

The Lender Development Director is the single point of contact managing a select number of Strategic Lender Clients with responsibility to develop Senior and C-level relationships and position Dealertrack as a trusted strategic partner.

Your Role:

  • Use the complete suite of Dealertrack technology and process solutions to ensure that client expectations are exceeded while achieving assigned revenue and solution adoption targets.
  • Conduct regular executive-level formal business review conferences to be held at client locations and/or at major industry events.
  • Build and maintain partnerships within Dealertrack's Product, Operations and Service Teams, which may be interacting with lender clients daily. Special emphasis will be placed on partnership with New Business Project Teams as they design future lender products and solutions.
  • Act as a partner to our project management and implementation teams in the successful deployment of Dealertrack solutions.
  • Travel will be required, up to 50% is expected.



Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience developing C-level relationships, preferably with a portfolio of financial institution clients
  • A deep understanding of indirect automotive lending, preferably gained through a leadership position at a large financial institution
  • Demonstrated track record of acting as a champion for complex, high value corporate accounts
  • Superior ability to build relationships with C-level strategic clients utilizing consultative presentation skills
  • Superior ability to communicate creative ideas to the Dealertrack organization
  • Writing high quality proposal documents
  • Exceptional presentation and sales skill 
  • Expertise negotiating complex agreements and contract terms 
  • Liaising with project management and implementation teams to oversee successful solution deployment
  • Superior customer relationship and rapport building skills
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Excellent Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SalesForce knowledge
