Learning Management System and Content Administrator

About the position

Prudential Advisors is seeking a talented Learning Management System and Content Administrator to join our team. This position works with the Learning Design team supporting the Professional Development unit within Prudential Advisors to manage the configuration and use of the Prudential Advisors Learning Management System (PALMS) and related learning technology solutions.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Work closely with the instructional design team and regulatory training partners to organize content in learning tracks, catalog, and career paths ensuring an optimal user experience
  • Upload learning content, make course assignments, calendar training events and ensure accurate completion reporting
  • Serve as the business point of contact for training communication and problem resolution users and business partners
  • Foster and maintain the relationship with the LMS Vendor
  • Collaborate with IT and business units on technical solutions to ensure we are capitalizing on the LMS functionality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues, analyzing trends for future improvements to content management, workflow processes, and user experience
  • Analyze training reports, notifications, and required completions, communicating status to business owner and firm training managers
  • Define detailed written business requirements for functionality enhancements, testing strategies and coordinate implementation communication with users
  • Document standard operating procedures around daily business processes, and provide training and support for business partners using PALMS
  • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience
  • Solve complex problems; taking a new perspective using existing solutions
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Experience managing a Learning Management System function, managing databases or related technical discipline
  • Should have a minimum of 3 years of Learning Management System experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communications and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects using standard project management concepts and tools
  • Ability to coordinate complex and interrelated assignments in a fast paced, task oriented environment and with emphasis on speed to market
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently and skilled in working with all levels of the organization
  • Familiarity with SCORM, AICC, Articulate Storyline, Lectora, Camtasia, or Adobe Captivate preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
  • Understanding of Prudential businesses preferred
