Job Summary                                               

Works with the Business HR Partner on the execution of local business and human resource (HR) priorities including talent management, employee engagement and organization effectiveness (performance, organization design & capabilities and change management).

 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

 

General Responsibilities

  • Responsible for coordinating campus recruitment and administering the Global Marketing Development Program
  • Collaborate to support North America Finance and Marketing functions
  • Collaborate as a member of the Business HR Team, including Business HR Leader, and Business HR Partner, Workforce Planning and Analytics and People Relations
  • Contributes to the execution of HR strategy, policies and programs
  • Promote adoption and continuous improvement of the HR Partnership Model in the business and facilitate collaboration among Business HR, CBS HR, CoHREs

HR Partnering

  • Understand local market and external factors to contribute to the development of insights and to support Business HR, CoHREs and business decisions
  • Collaborate with Business HR Team, as required, on key business decisions
  • Runs HR report and analysis to inform decision making

Talent Management

  • Addresses questions from business stakeholders on interpretation of HR policies, consulting with CoHREs as needed  / escalated to Business Partner as needed
  • Understand and apply, as appropriate, the company’s philosophy, principles and programs (including, e.g., total rewards, learning, people development and mobility)
  • Participate to the deployment  and execution of CoHRE-developed strategies (including, e.g., rewards & recognition, employer brand, development and learning)
  • Highlight local nuances to Business Partner / COHRE as applicable to inform the design and execution of HR programs
  • Support the recruitment, hiring, and social onboarding of staff  in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition CoHRE, CBS team and hiring managers
  • Support Business HR in the succession planning work
  • Collaborate with Business HR Partner and Learning CoHRE to identify learning needs, support the execution of Learning Demand Plan and provide feedback
  • Coordinates logistics and arrangements for campus recruiting programs, including orientation and rotational programs

 

  • Support the Business Partner in the execution of compensation actions for key talent, and in ensuring that proper matches are identified for Salary Surveys
  • Manage Business HR trainees and interns
  • Manager international assignment transfers (legal documents, net pay estimates, onboarding)

 

Organization Effectiveness (Organization Performance, Design, Capabilities and Change Management) – Provide as needed support to:

  • HR and Business Leaders in the implementation of organization design
  • Execute change management activities tailored to specific Business Unit and Global Function needs
  • Business Partner and Managers in the on execution of employee engagement initiatives

 

Positive Employee Relations

  • Advocate for employees through workforce relationships
  • Contribute to leaders’ initiatives to create and maintain a positive employee relations work environment
  • Manage the internal grievance process – escalate complex/high risk cases to Business Partner
  • Support the execution of employee and labor relations training for management and supervisory staff, including coordinating the use of outside legal resources to deliver training
  • Work with the Business Partner to establish proactive and responsive channels of communication to understand the pulse of the organization
  • Advise and coach business leaders and managers on the resolution of employee inquiries and issues, consulting with Legal as needed
  • Champion the company’s Ethical Leadership standards, behaviors and compliance
  • Partner with the Diversity and Inclusion CoHRE to implement relevant local initiatives

Education/ Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline
  • 2-4  years of progressive HR experience; experience in manufacturing and/or consumer products industry preferred
  • Experience in implementation of HR initiatives
  • Experience in at least one HR Specialty Area  (Compensation, Benefits, People Relations, People Development, Diversity & Inclusion, Analytics, Organization Development/Design)
