IT Process Engineer (Business Process Analyst 3)

Job Description

The Process & Request Management Technologies team provides process analysis, workflow design and Business Process Management solutions enterprise-wide.

  • Responsible for completing process analysis, identifying procedural and control deficiencies and recommending and implementing solutions.
  • Responsible for project management deliverables such as Business Requirements Documents, Functional Specifications, and Use Cases.
  • Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variance factors.
  • Process design may require introducing new technology, staff and substantial change to current structure.
  • Develops and leads process design or improvement initiatives, guiding teams across the business.
  • Has process expertise for multiple business groups and can provide analysis to the most complex and volatile business lines.
  • May have certification in six sigma methodology.

The preferred work location is Charlotte, NC. Preference will be given to those candidates that either currently live in or are willing to relocate to Charlotte, NC with limited to no relocation assistance. Remote work is possible and preferred with previous Wells Fargo experience .

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of operations analysis experience
  • 4+ years of experience capturing and documenting complex business and functional requirements
  • 4+ years of process engineering experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of business processes analysis and enhancing operations to accomplish business objectives
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of financial controls and risk
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Technology Project Methodology (TPM)
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies: used in waterfall or Agile development projects
  • Knowledge and understanding of workflow based technology platform
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology project management
  • iGrafx, ProVision or other enterprise process modeling experience
  • 2+ years of testing or quality assurance experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of Six Sigma or reengineering disciplines
  • A BS/BA degree or higher

Other Desired Qualifications
  • 3+ years of process re-engineering within a technology environment
  • 2+ years of UI (User Interface) design experience
  • Wells Fargo Business Process Analyst or Business Systems Consultant experience
