ISSSA Windows Systems Administration (Government)

AT&T Government Support team has an opening for a ISS Windows Systems Administrator to join the Santa Barbara, CA  team. Will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of a classified network.  

Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Leverage experience in DoD networks.
  • Apply experience working with MS environment and leverage strong working knowledge of Server Administration.
  • Work with the Network Operations Center to maintain the LAN.
  • Follow internal IA guidelines. Includes documenting system requirements, creating application designs, writing security plans, validating high level designs to ensure accuracy and completeness against the business requirements and programming the solutions.
  • Resolve design issues and develop strategies to make ongoing improvements that support system flexibility and performance.
  • Assess technical feasibility of new technologies to enable integration into existing processes.

Required skills and experience

Experience working in DoD networks.

Experience working with MS environment and working knowledge of Server Administration 

Windows 7 & Windows 10 environments

Experience maintaining the LAN

Experience resolving design issues and developing strategies to make ongoing improvements

Desired skills and experience

Minimum of 7 year’s experience is highly desired

CISSP certification is a Plus

MS Certified is a plus.

Experience with RMF processes highly desired.

Required clearance and certifications

Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance mandatory.

DCID 6/4.

Must be able to meet customer security requirements including Active Comp TIA Security Plus certification.

Start-date is not based on the member being completely briefed to customer accesses.
