Insurance Sales Associate

Job Description

Under the guidance of Sales Executive(s), acquires new business revenue through the sale of insurance coverage to smaller, less complex customers in assigned business line. Develops and retains productive relationships with customers, assists in identifying needs and recommending solutions, including cross-sell opportunities. May provide customer services or technical support to assign customers or prospects.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year of customer service experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience partnering with sales executives to grow new business revenue through the sale of insurance coverage to smaller, less complex customers
  • Ability to develop and retain strong working relationships with customers and prospects and assist in identifying needs and recommending solutions, including cross sell opportunities
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills

Job Expectations

  • Designated insurance license requirements must be completed within 180 days of hire date. Compliance with state law requirements is required.
