Implementation Specialist


Dealertrack, a Cox Automotive Brand, is currently looking for an Implementation Specialist with 2-4 years’ experience to join our Business Operations team in Lake Success, New York.

Job Summary:

The primary purpose of this position is to implement, configure, and train Dealertrack F&I solutions while maximizing the Dealertrack customer experience. 

Implementation Specialist’s primary responsibility is to implement Dealertrack F&I products.  This includes post sale, pre installation coordination with clients and the training team.  They will also perform product configuration, and assist with data integration services and client hardware assessment. This team member will also be responsible for assessing client satisfaction post installation. They will create a plan of a plan action if needed to ensure client retention in cases that are warranted and implementation policies that contribute to streamlining the installation process.

Your Role:

  • Perform the remote configuration, implementation, and training for signed and processed contracts. The major responsibility will be scheduling installs for training specialists and follow up of installed accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and user acceptance of Dealertrack products.
  • Conduct Web based client training
  • Schedule and complete the installation and training for the dealership – remotely or on-site
  • Communicate and complete reporting in Salesforce when the implementation is complete
  • Meet predefined service level agreements for installation and training of new contracts.
  • Interact, cross-functionally, with other teams to initiate a successful implementation as well as on-going post install support.
  • Ensures systems are accurately updated and new integration processes are deployed or implemented within established timelines and quality standards.
  • Maintain currency of skills, keep abreast of new products and functionality as well as billing and contract processing enhancements.


Required Experience (minimum):
  • Hands-on experience working directly with customers / dealers
  • Demonstrated experience working closely with a sales and training teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is a must.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as strong follow-up and prioritization skills.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail
  • Highly developed decision making and problem resolution/ troubleshooting skills
  What We Look For (preferred):
  • Previous Auto Dealership experience any role.
