HR Transformation Lead, North America – Supply Chain:

This individual will be responsible for leading and implementing change in North America Supply Chain, from an HR perspective, as part of the continuous Supply Chain Transformation. The candidate should have a passion to lead people, drive change and deliver results in a fast-paced environment, while being resourceful and demonstrating initiative and foresight. Travel time commitment can add up to 30% during site implementation of MPS and other AM2020 initiatives. Responsibilities:
  • Provide HR leadership across North America Supply Chain – Row Crops to support and drive AM 2020 initiatives, across Row Crop sites in North America.
  • Develop and lead an implementation plan to secure MPS learnings from Wave I, and Partner in building a plan to deploy MPS implementation - Wave II, onwards, to guarantee the sustainability of Change Management initiatives and MPS
  • Develop and lead a Project Plan that addresses People and Change Management initiatives with timelines
  • Ensure people initiatives and changes are on track to support sustainable changes
  • Achieve results through an active partnership with the Regional MPS Lead, MPS Site Leads, local Site Leaders, NASC Leaders, MPS Change Manager for NASC, the Global Change Management Team, Global and Hub Leadership, Production COEs, and Global and Hub HR teams.
  • Lead best practices sharing across sites, including Crop Protection sites in the US, and sites in other hubs, to leverage learnings and key success factors, and remove roadblocks
  • Ensure consistency in the implementation of AM 2020 initiatives by coaching and advising management on effective ways to handle communication, training, employee relations, performance management, engagement, coaching, reward and recognition.
  • Develop a robust understanding of Advanced Manufacturing 2020 (AM 2020) and particularly MPS (Monsanto Production System), from an HR and change management perspective, to implement initiatives in a sustainable manner.
  • Be a proactive partner with functional leaders to develop and maintain a healthy, productive, legally compliant work environment.
  • Tap into extended Monsanto HR/Change Management network when needed
  • Recognize risks to the change and develop and implement action plans
  • Ensure adequate and timely communication at Site Level, as well as at Hub/Regional levels, and report progress.

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7+ years of relevant experience that includes leading and influencing change.
  • Experience in leading, managing conflict and working with cross-functional teams
  • 5 years experience coaching and providing leadership development across multiple levels
  • Experience with Project Management and implementation
  • Demonstration of initiative, foresight, agility and resourcefulness
  • Familiarity with HR practices, policies and programs is required
  • Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Processes is an asset
