Global Order-to-Cash Transition Manager

The primary responsibilities of this role, Global Order-to-Cash Transition Manager, are to: 


  • Develop country transition strategies based on global guidance taking into account market specifics in collaboration with country management;
  • Partner with local business services and shared service delivery network to plan and execute small to mid-sized country transitions in line with global order-to-cash blueprint, covering organizational, process and technology levers; and/or lead individual work-streams of major country transitions;
  • Supervise and direct cross functional transition teams without sub structures to deliver agreed objectives;
  • Identify deviations to global standards and run proposed country exceptions through central governance process;
  • Hold transition cost in line with approved budget and track and deliver committed benefits in line with business case;
  • Report transition status to defined stakeholders on a regular basis and manage risk by defining and tracking suitable mitigation measures;
  • Adhere to relevant escalation procedures to resolve critical issues in a timely manner;
  • Ensure organizational readiness before cut over, in particular knowledge transfer and sufficient aftercare to operationalize service level agreements.

Required Qualifications:


  • Ten (10) or more years of progressive commercial life sciences experience gained at a leading multi-national company, managing complex multi-disciplinary initiatives, plus a BA/BS in finance, supply chain, or business administration, or equivalent;
  • Proven track record delivering multi-country projects in line with time, quality and cost commitments;
  • Demonstrable experience in an order-to-cash role and solid understanding of shared service dynamics;
  • Deep knowledge of process improvement and change management tools and methodologies;
  • Assertive, competent, confident and resilient;
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual and communication skills;
  • Strong change management capabilities;
  • Willing to travel 50% or more and work in different time zones.
