Global Crop Protection Planning Business Process Optimization Manager

Global Supply and Demand Planning Systems Lead for St. Louis, MO to study and propose optimization opportunities for planning and supply chain processes and systems for the Crop Protection business; interface with functional owners to collect data and map current systems and processes; analyze data and benchmark against industry best practices and available frameworks (SCOR, APICS); identify process inputs and constraints, including lead time, capacity, production plan selection and production variable costs; develop safety stock, demand management and other mathematical and simulation models for optimization; formulate metrics for evaluating current systems and quantifying benefits of proposed changes; ensure processes are aligned with business needs; present recommendations to management; support integrated business planning (IBP) and supply and demand planning; collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Requires Bachelors in Supply Chain Management or closely-related field and 2 yrs global supply chain exp. performing supply network planning; optimizing supply shipment routing through direct shipments to point-of-demand
• Increasing inventory utilization; engaging in material processing scheduling and prioritization;
• Reviewing timeliness of product shipments based on current demand
• Reviewing forecasts to analyze supply gaps
• Adhering to trade and compliance regulations
• Implementing continuous improvement initiatives using SCOR framework and APICS principles
• Using Oracle and SAP ERP and MS Office for reporting and analysis
• Performing user acceptance testing; interfacing with IT and functional owners to establish requirements; acting as a subject matter expert during IBP and ERP system implementation
• Working with Steelwedge IBP software; using IBM Blueworks Live for process mapping and development of persona centric ecosystems
• Participating in project management for cross-functional and global projects with a budget over $1 million USD.
• Must also have APICS CPIM, CSCP or CFPIM experience.
