Investment Performance Reporting Associate

Prudential’s Alternative Assets Group (AAG) is a unit of the Global Chief Investment Office, which conducts asset and liability management and portfolio construction for all of Prudential’s domestic and international business operations. The Alternative Assets Group is responsible for managing over $9 billion in assets, comprised of private equity and hedge funds, as well as real estate and other investments in real assets.

The Performance Analytics and Reporting team within AAG is seeking an investment performance reporting professional with solid analytical skills to join the team. The position reports to the Head of Performance Analytics and Reporting. The candidate will be expected to:

  • Assist in the calculation and reconciliation of performance for individual manager investments, portfolios, and benchmarks;
  • Perform validation checks to ensure the quality and accuracy of return calculations, and resolve data discrepancies in a timely manner;
  • Manage the flow of data from external sources as well as from internal systems;
  • Assist in providing essential investment data and benchmarking information;
  • Support the production of accurate and timely periodic performance reports;
  • Assist in the operational due diligence of existing and potential new investments;
  • Assist in non-investment functions pertaining to the management of the portfolios.
Qualifications
  • Ability to organize, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines;
  • Keen attention to detail;
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
  • High degree of proficiency in Excel;
  • Investment performance measurement experience a plus;
  • Bachelor’s degree required; CIPM a plus.
