Job Description

Enterprise Finance & Information Technology is looking for a highly motivated, energetic, results-oriented, finance professional to support the Financial Institutions (FI) Group. FI manages relationships and provides financial services to domestic and international financial institutions, central banks, multilateral organizations and domestic and international non-bank financial institutions. Customers are serviced through more than 50 domestic and international representative offices and branches around the world. FI provides correspondent bank services which drive significant credit and deposit portfolios, payment and trade product flows, and a cross sell distribution channel for a wide variety of capital markets products.

This role will provide general divisional financial support, business analysis, management reporting, and business presentation support to FI. Specific responsibilities will include full financial support for the Global Payments Services and COO organizations as well as month-end/quarter-end close responsibilities. Close partnership with the head of Global Payments Service and management team along with finance teammates on regular management reporting, adhoc analysis and projects will be required.

This position will interact with many business partners throughout the organization. Strong influence, communication, prioritization, and collaboration skills are critical success factors. The successful candidate will be expected to provide analysis and reporting on financial performance, forecasts and business trends; review key business initiatives, offer recommendations, and provide technical expertise on financial issues. The candidate will also be required to prepare and help present results and recommendations to various audiences including senior management.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of finance experience

Desired Qualifications

  • A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics
  • A Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Designation
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Business line management reporting support experience with strong accounting and finance process knowledge, corporate funds transfer pricing process and corporate expense allocations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain good working relationships with internal partners
  • Excellent teamwork
  • Demonstrated proficiency in handling multiple projects, processes and deadlines
  • Wholesale banking and Capital Markets product knowledge and financial systems experience (including WISPR/SmartView, webEagle, IRIS, and ProfitView)
  • Successful candidate must be flexible, diligent, self-motivated, enthusiastic, possess excellent problem solving/analytical skills, systems aptitude and the ability to operate in a fast-paced dynamic environment
