Finance Manager, Consumer Make North America

The Finance Manager, Consumer Make North America will lead the Americas Consumer Make FP&A finance team providing financial support and leadership to the MAKE organization. In addition, he/she will partner closely with Regional and Global Make Leads, Regional Supply Chain leadership, and Global Consumer SC Finance to provide support in the delivery of financial commitments. He/she is also responsible for defining the scope and approach for the Americas business plan, managing risks & opportunities, and communicating targets across regions/sites.
In addition to the primary MAKE FP&A responsibilities, he/she will also be responsible for:- Consolidation/FP&A activities of the Global Admin Supply Chain Budget - Finance Lead on the Global Oral/Wound Care Value Stream Team
He/she will influence the development and execution of the J&J MAKE Finance service delivery model (SDM) and shaping the organization for long term success by driving process improvements and standardization. It will require strong partnership/leadership with Make and Finance in the development of Make business plans, updates and LRFP while taking into account differences between region/site specific P&Ls. In addition, he/she will ensure that best practices are leveraged globally and across enterprise supply chain.He/she will report to the Sr. Manager – Global Consumer Make.
Main activities/responsibilities• Leads consolidation and reporting for Americas for all sites and regions • Supports implementation of driver based forecasting and frames key drivers along with analyses• Drives business plan process to establish new standards and delivers spend analyses• Drives business plan process: establishes detailed calendar and approach with all involved parties. • Continuously identify opportunities for improving finance processes; partner with management and colleagues to assess and implement recommendations in a timely and effective manner• Prepares Make Financial Dashboards and Net Cost Change analysis• Drives Standard Cost Setting cycle, calendar and standardization
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in Accounting or Finance• MBA, CPA, CMA or other financial certifications preferred• A minimum of 5 years of finance or accounting experience required • Experience in pharmaceutical or consumer supply chain finance or manufacturing role preferred• Experience in project planning and problem solving including simulation, modeling, capital budgeting, cost benefit analysis and information systems development required• Prior People management experience preferred• Process driven individual who is able to excel in a fast-past environment, problem solve and willing to challenge the status-quo required• Strong influencer, independent thinking and strong planning/prioritization are critical to success • Ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels of the organization required• Passion for people development and talent management is critical• Experience with SAP or TM1 preferred• This position will be located in Skillman, NJ• Up to 15% international travel required
