External Manufacturing Quality Lead (1 of 2)

Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for an External Manufacturing Quality Lead (1 of 2) which can be based in one of the following locations: Skillman, NJ; Fort Washington, PA; Clearwater, FL; Markham or Guelph, Ontario, Canada.

Position Overview:
  • You will provide overall Quality Assurance leadership in the management of contract manufacturing sites engaged in the production of oral ingestible and topical OTC drugs, medical devices, combination products, nutritionals, NDA’s and/or cosmetic formulations for the J&J Consumer Sector.
  • You will support Contract Manufacturing sites, driving compliance & quality improvement initiatives, assisting resolution of process/product non-conformance events, monitoring/resolving complaints, reporting Contract Manufacturer performance metrics, interfacing with J&J business partners and providing batch release when required.
  • You may represent QA on project and improvement teams by guiding setting quality/compliance requirements, development of SOPs & specifications, and providing technical transfer/validation support.

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required with 7+ years of GMP experience (OR an advanced degree/MBA in a related discipline and 4+ years of experience) in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, OTC Drug, Cosmetic, and/or Food & Dietary Supplements industry.
  • Detailed working knowledge of cGMP requirements and current FDA enforcement issues is required.
  • Experience working with external partners is preferred.
  • Experience with CAPA and/or investigations is preferred.
  • Experience in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point applications is required.
  • ASQ certification is preferred.
  • Up to 30% domestic/international travel may be required.
