KPMG is currently seeking an Executive Director, to join our Events and Meetings Organization.


  • Create strategy and implementation path for optimum operational and resource model that includes sound fiscal management, focus on high level service and user experience and space management processes that result in meeting occupancy targets across the functions
  • Engage leaders from Learning, Innovation, IT, Security, Communications and other key stakeholder groups as determined to help ensure incorporation of space needs and use case scenarios throughout the design planning process influencing transformation with forward thinking vision through dialogue and strategic sessions
  • Work collaboratively with Firmwide Procurement on creation of RFP and identification of target suppliers establishing the tenets of operational excellence expected of selected partner supplier
  • Lead collaborative discussions with Project Steering Committee National Managing Partners to establish the guiding principles that will drive cultural and environmental decisions with design, space management, operations and services and will infuse project team with clear direction
  • Create strategy for partner and employee engagement throughout the design and construction process; including, the establishment of showcases for model classrooms, guest rooms, furniture and fixture samples and others
  • Actively engage in regular project meetings and serve as the voice of the stakeholder groups during the schematic design and design development phases while participating in construction update and design visioning sessions and communicate design progress to leader groups


  • Minimum fifteen years of corporate facilities management experience with an emphasis in an academic or conference learning environment
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; Master's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Experience building and managing teams, operations, facilities, external vendors in a conference or corporate setting
  • Strong results orientation with a demonstrated ability to oversee practical, solution-driven initiatives that are perceived as quickly adding value to the business
  • Solid impact and influence skills with the ability to leverage these skills to continuously improve business processes and facility operations
  • Outstanding leadership and communication skills with the ability to present views in a clear and compelling manner and develop trust and influence as a senior thought leader with a broad relationship base
