Equipment Finance Collections Analyst III

Job Description
 Builds business relationships and discuss accounts with Lending and Credit Management, Asset Management, Workout, and others as needed to understand background of account, obtain customer information, and determine appropriate contacts given amount of money owed, sensitivity of customer situation and other details. Develops collection plans based on information gathered.
 Makes calls regarding collections and open fees; maintain collection logs in the lease accounting system (Leaseworks IFS); assists with payment applications. Sends default notices, notices of disposition, and demand letters to delinquent accounts; and complete CARS and SARS.
 Maintains strong knowledge of commercial products and services, as well as, commercial collections processes and procedures, including all documentation, estates, guarantors, set offs, processing tickets and payments, administering holds on accounts, skip tracing, real estate taxes, lien payments, insurance cancellations and other information. Shares information with others as appropriate.
 Supports the lending function by preparing written analysis with appropriate recommendations for approval, denial and alternative structure when necessary
 Has responsibility for structural and financial analysis of moderately complex loans and leases/industries/Customers
 Completes spread requests, annual reviews, and/or Maestro lockdowns as needed
 Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
 Prepares reports on the status of Credit Management and Collections metrics as needed
 Leads in process improvement initiatives or projects as needed or identified by manager
 Assists in the communication and rollout of any changes, improvements, and/ or initiatives relating to the group's process to team members and other cross functional teams
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree or experience equivalent to Bachelor's degree required
5 + years related experience required
 Superior oral and written communication skills
 Superior analytical and research skills
 Developed PC skills including demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
 Superior knowledge of equipment finance with an understanding of documentation for loan and lease transactions
 Detail oriented, with superior organizational and negotiation skills
 Ability to interact with, and provide excellent customer service to, both external and internal customers
 Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
 Ability to maintain the confidentiality of credit and Customer information
 Superior interpersonal skills and a team orientation
 Developed knowledge of credit and financial analysis techniques
 Strong understanding of loan risk factors.
 Exhibits the ability to gather, consolidate, analyze and summarize data to provide well-considered recommendations on an increasingly independent basis
