Director, Sr Lead Business Manager-IT

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Enterprise IT Business Management Office, this Director will help drive the day-to-day controls, labor analytics and execution of business planning activities and processes across Enterprise IT. These efforts will directly contribute to running Enterprise IT efforts as a business. Act as key relationship manager to assigned groups. The leader must have proven success in helping others deliver measurable, cost effective results. Responsibilities: With a focus on operational excellence, the Director, Business Management will:
  • Partner with process owners to evaluate, document, monitor, and forecast workforce efforts across Enterprise IT. Establish related reporting.
  • Define and implement appropriate tools and cadences to ensure labor is being effectively managed. Enhance processes to increase organizational productivity.
  • Develop and oversee operational quality reviews
  • Coordinate the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual operating plan reviews (OPR), ensuring the story of the team's status/progress is effectively shared. Provide ad-hoc presentations and analysis.
  • Facilitate monthly business and financial reviews with Sr. Leadership teams
  • Manage related space planning projects and day-to-day support activities
  • Work with IT teams to manage software tracking, analysis and needed purchases for groups he/she manages.
  • Cascade key IT strategic messages to technology area and embed appropriately into technology area communication to ensure understanding and engagement
  • Partner with the Business Financial Officer (BFO) team, PMO teams and other teams to ensure project forecasts, and spending are effectively managed
  • Manage and develop a team of business management professionals


Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, IT or Math. MBA a plus.
  • 10+ years of business management experience
  • 5 years of labor strategy experience
  • 5 years of experience with business financial planning and analytics. Finance analyst experience a strong plus.
  • 3-5 years of strategic planning experience
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Able to gather relevant data, analyze, provide insights and actionable recommendations. A strong commitment to data quality. Desired Skills:
  • 5 years of experience working within the financial services industry
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products, with heavy emphasis on PowerPoint & Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to influence partners and peers
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • TQM or Six Sigma training preferred.
  • 5 years as a direct people manager
