Director of Sales Hematology - Whippany, NJ

The primary responsibilities of this role Director of Sales Hematology, are to:

 

  • Manage all business and activities within the U.S. including sales, field administration, integration of marketing plans, national accounts;
  • Direct planning and execution of area business plans (strategic and tactical);
  • Meet sales/profitability targets, manage personnel development, customer growth (key accounts/decision makers), and oversee an aggressive business plan and execution;
  • Be responsible for the integration of all business activities to support the goals;
  • Work closely with Training and Development to oversee sales training management and development of sales training materials;
  • Ensure the Compliance Integrity Agreement is followed by all field force personnel;
  • Supervise activities of District Sales Managers (3), National Account Managers (3), Manager of Sales Operations.

 

This position is based in the Whippany, NJ home office and has national responsibility.

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor level degree;
  • Five years pharmaceutical selling experience;
  • Ten years field management or equivalent experience (leadership within field sales, sales operations, sales training, marketing, managed markets).

 

Preferred Experience:

 

  • Business degree;
  • Strong business orientation (budgeting, P&L, contracting);
  • Management experience beyond the field level;
  • Knowledge of the Hemophilia market.
