Job Summary:
Responsible for producing technology solutions that satisfy business and product needs both now and for the future. Focuses on technology strategy for the development of future and current products. Monitors technical and engineering progress to ensure strategies, goals, and objectives are met. Aligns operational plans with business objectives.
Communicates changes to all affected personnel. Provides leadership and direction for team which may include multiple functional areas. Develops and implements strategy for functional area(s). May have responsibility for developing and managing budget.

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Serve Enterprise IT
  2. Define and develop a product roadmap user experience (UX)visionfor enterprise IT.
  3. Evaluate the current IT ecosystem relative to the overall experiencevisionand create a gap analysis.
  4. Develop a phasedstrategy and planto realize the vision managing the plan as a long term project working closely with Enterprise IT engineering teams, Enterprise Solutions organizations and cross functional Comcast engineering organizations.
  5. Develop a standard user experience for enterprise IT tools including:
    1. Common UI (where possible)
    2. Integration framework (API/integration guide and related guidelines)
    3. Common data and information architecture (how you move in and out of applications once in them)
    4. Common access and authorization experiences.
    5. Leveraging existing technologies & delivery platforms to integrate in order to simplify access, drive standards and increase adoption.
  6. Ongoing evaluation of industry trends and company trends in close partnership with organizational leadership and strategic partners to influence technology strategy.
  7. Partner closely with the Enterprise IT organization to:
    1. Ensure the tools and technologies in the (current and future) portfolio are aligned to achieve desired experience outcomes.
    2. Influence vendors and third parties to achieve desired experiences (for purchased products)
    3. Ensure technology investments can achieve the experience outcomes (i.e. new tech developed or purchased must have APIs, an integration guide, open access framework, etc)
  8. Develop and nurture performing partnerships with Comcast cross organizational design & user experience teams.

Job Specification:
- Bachelors Degree
- Engineering, Computer Science
- Generally requires 10+ years related experience
