Monsanto Canada is seeking highly motivated DEKALB Assistant for summer 2018. The terms of these positions may vary slightly based on environmental conditions and availability of candidates. This is an ideal opportunity for students interested in pursuing a career in agriculture to experience working with a leading agricultural company. Positions available in the following areas:

  • North East, Saskatchewan
  • North West, Saskatchewan
  • Regina Area, Saskatchewan
  • Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
  • Western, Saskatchewan
  • Yorkton Area, Saskatchewan
  • Brandon Area, Manitoba
  • Winnipeg Area, Manitoba
  • Coordinate and manage DEKALB Market Development and Demonstration Trials for Canola, Corn and Soybeans
  • Assist with communication to DEKALB retail and grower customers
  • Coordinate field signing programs
  • Assist with retail and grower summer tours and promotional events
  • Other duties and projects as required

  • Agriculture or Business Degree student, or Diploma student, or graduate
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to accept responsibility
  • Good understanding of agronomic practices
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record
