Customer Enablement Technical Platform Lead

Monsanto is seeking a Customer Enablement Technical Platform Lead to design, build and steward the technical foundations for Customer Relationship Management, Digital Marketing, Integration and Digital Commerce capabilities. This role will be located in St. Louis, MO. What you will do:
  • Deliver technology solutions – you will leverage your strong technical experience and subject matter expertise to lead a team of architects and engineers in delivery of key initiatives for an enterprise-class customer enabling IT platform.
  • Subject matter expert – develop deep technical knowledge of Customer Relationship Management, Web Content Management, Digital Asset Management, Product Information Management, eCommerce and Marketing Automation platforms and how they support downstream/upstream systems, advise on best practices for optimizing the use of these systems.
  • Bridge evolving business needs to existing and emerging technical capabilities.
  • Keep pulse on the industry; conduct external research for existing and emerging solutions and trends.
  • Promote shared and enterprise-scaled platforms, infrastructure, and services to reduce total cost of ownership and standardize global processes.
  • Work effectively as part of a global team, partnering with teams across IT and the business including Product Management, Product Development, Global Customer IT and Global Customer Care.

If you share our values, you should have the following required education/skills:
  • Minimum of a high school diploma
  • At least 5 years of relevant IT experience, or in a role interfacing with IT
  • Proven leadership ability demonstrated by either directly leading a team or as a matrix leader/influencer
  • Commercial or Customer Care experience
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills with the ability to evolve strategy based on research, data and industry trends
  • Successful record of building and improving operational processes and procedures, ability to drive program efficiency and high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Results oriented, delivery focus
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills, can flourish handling multiple tasks, workload, changing priorities, and tight deadlines; ability to assess a problem and determine an effective course of action with sustainable solution
  • Ideas for how to apply DevOps principles and best practices to COTS products
Bonus points for these desired skills:
  • Experience in CRM, Digital Marketing and/or eCommerce
  • Experience with SAP Hybris; Adobe Experience Manager
