Credit Management Associate I

Job Description
The Credit Management Associate I is responsible for performing underwriting support and portfolio administration functions in accordance with Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Job Requirements
• Heavy emphasis on processes incoming/outgoing transactions by preparing and inputting necessary documentation to maintain underwriting workflow.
• May assist CCM with clearing and management exceptions.
• Generates and distributes reports to the CCM team.
• Prepares and submits credit files and documentation for Credit Management to safekeeping.
• Assists in supporting origination activities thru portfolio administration, tracking, correspondence preparation in accordance with Bank policies and procedures.
• May Manages/confirms TD document changes and inputs are consistent with system requirements.
• Follows appropriate action taking into account bank policy, regulatory requirements, impact to the customer, and impact to the bank as well as cost factors.
• Follows quality control procedures to verify records contain proper content using checklist and other tools.
• Establishes strong working relationships with commercial stakeholders, credit risk and other internal areas involved in underwriting, approval and closing loans.
• 4 year degree or equivalent experience
• 3-4 years experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent Customer service to internal and external Customers.
• Excellent PC skills and familiarity with standard office equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to work independently in handling a heavy workload.
• Possesses organizational, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of commercial loan documentation title policies, appraisals, environmental assessment, entity formation documents and bank policies and procedures.
