Corporate Banking Portfolio Manager - Healthcare

  The Corporate Banking Portfolio Manager partners with assigned Relationship Manager(s) to successfully manage the credit portion of a client relationship. The portfolio consists largely of Investment Grade Fortune 500 clients.

Responsibilities include: underwriting all types of credit account exposure through strong due diligence work. Preparation of formal written analysis includes review of company's historical financial condition and its respective industry, analysis of corporate and credit structure, construction of sensitized projection models, and recommendations for internal credit rating. Verbally present same to appropriate credit approvers. Maintain assigned credit portfolio through independent analysis and in coordination with Division staff. Evaluate industry trends, conditions of clients and prospects to properly position portfolio. Attend bank meetings, analyst meetings, industry conferences as appropriate. Secondarily, provides customer service, participates in joint sales calls with Relationship Manager(s) and identifies cross-sell opportunities.

  Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, Master's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Seven or more years of experience in corporate or large middle market lending activities

Preferred Skills/Experience
- Considerable analytical skills
- Extensive knowledge of credit administration, policy and procedures
- Thorough knowledge of economics, accounting, and finance
- In-depth knowledge of risk analysis
- Excellent technical report writing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience underwriting large Healthcare companies is a plus
