Consumer Lending Manager - Metro NY

Job Description
The Consumer Lending Manager is accountable for directing and managing the overall Retail Lending strategy and execution for a geographic area in the Retail Bank. The jobs will direct the delivery of retail lending services/products to assure consistency of approach and successful achievement of business objectives and sales goals strategies.Job Requirements
 Represents an assigned geographic area and is accountable to partner with the RMMs & Stores, actively participating with all Retail Business Partners to drive the retail lending sales inclusive of credit card, home equity and unsecured lending
 Responsible for achieving Retail Lending production goals & objectives for a geographic area
 Partners with the Stores in meeting their retail lending goals by providing hands-on support, one-on-one coaching and direct to customer business development activities.
 Works directly with the RMM and Store Management to understand money out growth objectives of a Region, executes on training needs and develop action plans with RMMs and Store Managers that drive improved performance
 Consults as Subject Matter Expert for Product lending when creating formal training courses; provides sales and service coaching and training to regional retail staff through Sales Calls and formal Training Courses
 Develops and maintains effective working relationships with all business lines such as Commercial, Wealth, Small Business, etc., to foster and drive additional retail lending sales activities from all channels
 Researches and answers escalated problems involving retail lending sales development projects and other work activities
 Conducts Market & Regional sales meetings in order to educate, motivate and build a strong retail lending sales team and culture
 Creates a motivating environment and develops enthusiasm through dynamic presentations and coaching

 Provides leadership, coaching, counseling and guidance to market leadership
 Assist with managing the bank's CRA efforts
 Collaborates with the product team to establish strategy, goals, objectives, and to share best practices
 Insures adherence to performance integrity practices
Qualifications
 3+ Years of related experience
 Advanced knowledge of Retail Lending products
 Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
 Strong relationship management and influencing skills
 Ability to succeed in a highly matrixed environment
 Accustomed to an environment that is fast-paced with consideration to timely delivery
 Strong analytical and decision-making skills
 Collaborative approach to business solutions
