Commercial Sales Assistant III - Commercial Real Estate - NY, NY

Job Description
  • Provides professional and efficient service to external and internal Customers.
  • Responsible for the most complex payments, advances, pay-downs, wires and line of credit adjustments.
  • Works closely with Relationship team with early delinquency resolution.
  • Prepares correspondence under the direction and review of Relationship Team.
  • Resolution of exception reporting items.
  • Serves as a resource for Commercial Sales Assistant I & II.
  • Develops and makes recommendations of procedures and process flow.
  • Supports and assists Relationship Team with reporting, loan activities, delinquencies, correspondence preparation and tracking in loan information.
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years related experience required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of commercial lending products, credit policy, loan documentation and administration requirements, and legal and regulatory guidelines.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of commercial lending policy and procedures, including lending authority, loan structures, risk ratings, loan to value ratio and other related information.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of commercial rate changes, billing processes, reading transaction histories, explaining late fees and interpreting the technical details of the loan system for Customers and Relationship Team.
  • Exceptional Customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Flexible and adaptable to change, with demonstrated ability to learn new tasks and systems quickly.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, including ability to review large amounts of detailed documents for accuracy.
  • Strong PC skills, along with knowledge of Relationship Team systems and software.
  • Able to learn and assist others with new tasks and systems.
