Business Operations Analyst - Process Improvement

  This position is part of International Operations Planning, Support and Control team. The incumbent will define and perform system analysis and develop tasks to improve workflow and operating efficiency. Makes recommendations to standardize procedures and processes and introduces new technology or improves existing technology. Analyzes costs of existing operations and prepares a cost/benefit analysis of recommended changes. This role will also balance best practices across sites and lines of businesses, defining and sourcing data to fill operational metric gaps within the business in support of continuous process improvement.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop a Project Intake Process and Execution Methodology to define the project lifecycle, roles, responsibilities, intake and management reporting process.
• Provide project management oversight for assigned initiatives
• Lead/own and execute high priority initiatives
• Develop project plan/schedule and tasks to improve workflow and operating efficiency
• Define and perform system analysis
• Provide recommendations for process, procedures and technology
• Perform cost analysis of existing operations and prepares a cost/benefit analysis of recommended changes
• Defining and sourcing data to fill operational metric gaps within the business in support of continuous process improvement
• Balance and incorporate best practices
• Develop operational metrics, KPIs, and KRIs
• Perform the established activities with focus on detail clarity, accuracy and timeliness per project plan.
• Build strong relationships and collaboration across the business lines

 
Qualifications
  Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
• 10 or more years of experience in operations/technology project management activities

Preferred Skills/Experience
• Process Improvement Certification, i.e. Lean Six Sigma, with experience in process mapping and TQM
• Project Management Certification (PMP) and/or experience demonstrating project management approach
• Demonstrate ownership and accountability for assigned tasks and job objectives
• Ability to influence and present complex topics in a concise, clear and accurate manner
• Research and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Function independently with little supervision
• Strong control orientation, analytical skills, attention to detail, critical thinking and problem solving
• Strong reporting and data analytics background, with experience in development of operational metrics, KPIs, and KRIs
• Commitment to quality, customer service and adding value to the organization
• Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, Project, and SharePoint applications
