With approximately 13,700 team members, Wells Fargo Virtual Channels (WFVC) serves Wells Fargo consumer and small business customers through various channels — digital (online, mobile, and social) and contact center (phone, email, and correspondence). WFVC’s vision is to pioneer the next generation of financial services and provide the best virtual experiences, anytime, anyhow, and anywhere. Over 32 million customers use our digital channels to manage their financial lives, and our customer-facing contact centers support approximately 450 million customer contacts annually. This position reports to the Portfolio Planning and Reporting manager within WFVC and is responsible for supporting and participating in the implementation of the department’s technology efforts, process improvement, redesign, STM implementation and change management initiatives being led by WFVC Portfolio team. In addition, the position will work collaboratively with Product Managers, Business Initiative Consultants, Implementation Consultants, WFVC leaders, enterprise PMO offices, Digital and EIT Delivery teams.

The successful candidate will have proven ability to quickly gain business acumen, work collaboratively with a team and take initiative to resolve issues that impact the performance of the group.

Day to day responsibilities for this position may include:

  • Provide leadership in the integration/implementation of programs/services/initiatives with cross functional business partners, recognizing the significance of competing priorities and strategies, and adjusting as necessary
  • Provide strategic consultation with WFVC partners in planning initiatives, activities, and priorities
  • Work with functional management to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict and ensure alignment with WF strategy/policies and business objectives
  • Foster relationships across supporting partners (product, technology, risk, etc.) to address initiatives and issues
  • Develop metrics and tracks/evaluates effectiveness and performance of programs, services and initiatives
  • Ensures programs adhere to appropriate policies, regulations and budgets
  • Develop supporting tools and procedures to ensure effective implementation and administration of WFVC impacted efforts
  • Conduct internal and external benchmarking and research and analyze data to make strategic assessments and recommendations
  • Develop and deliver communications, change management, and training to support process improvement initiatives
  • Serve as representative on WFVC, functional, and enterprise project teams and work-streams, as requested
  • Work with partners in the planning of project / initiative execution and deployment plans
  • Lead the implementation / execution of process improvement initiatives
  • Provide thought leadership and technical/system expertise regarding processes that impact WFVC portfolio
  • Support analytic work streams to provide critical insight based on STAMP, PMUWS, Clarity data. (Project / Idea data)
  • Analyzes and interpret trends in WFVC data and proactively work with partners in addressing any performance gaps / opportunities
  • Develop presentations to include both detailed content and executive summaries to support all levels of leadership

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management and implementation
  • Web intelligence (Webi) experience
  • Business Objects experience
  • Solid creative and strategic thinking skills
  • Good analytical skills including strategically analyzing data and diagnosing opportunities/interventions
  • Experience researching technical problems, analyzing data, and recommending potential solutions
