Job Description

The Wholesale Relationship Management Foundations (WRMF) Change Consultant is essential in ensuring that Wholesale’s high-profile, strategic priority to create world-class customer engagement across all lines of businesses, will be adopted and utilized in a way to ensure success for the business. Wholesale has multiple CRM tools today with disparate policies, processes, and data that represent significant opportunity. The WRFM Change Consultant will be a key team member and leader to support the transition of Wholesale’s multiyear customer engagement strategy.

This key role will report to the Transformation Management Office within Wholesale Relationship Strategies & Insights (WRS&I) with dotted line accountability to the governance leader within the Wholesale Business Solutions (WBS) team. This individual will work as a dedicated consultant within a small team to drive and support the WRMF program across Wholesale.

This role will be responsible for:

  • Working in direct partnership with WRMF leaders to develop impact analyses, business readiness assessments and stakeholder communication management to ensure the appropriate development of an implementation roadmap and successful execution. This will include building and articulating a ‘Case of Change’ to mobilize and align leadership across Wholesale
  • Building and executing on organization-wide and local training and communication strategies to support the program including: crafting start-up communications, building out working group on-boarding communications, developing promotional campaign plans/program branding, building out a communications toolkit, and other communication functions as deemed appropriate
  • Manage and document comprehensive current state assessment of Wholesale-wide CRM infrastructure and teams to determine transformation approach for the target state operating model
  • Partner with Wholesale Business Solutions (WBS), Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) and other partners as needed to support appropriate development and implementation of needed infrastructure
  • Partner with other internal change management resources within HR, Enterprise Data & Analytics, WBS to build comprehensive change management roadmap for WRFM, integrate other internal change team members into the program and leverage existing work where

  • Partner with other internal resources to build and manage a Wholesale-wide change network and leverage this network to facilitate targeted communication, ensure business readiness, support the businesses and local team members through the change, and enable the sustainment strategy moving forward
  • Ensure that design initiatives and activities are in alignment with overall program plans, objectives, and timelines and drive completion of sustainment planning with all partners including addressing organizational implications (e.g., workforce impact assessments, transition plans, training strategy including etc.)
  • Define change management KPIs for performance and continuously measure, track, report, and optimize strategies and tactics to ensure the value realized through this effort is sustained
  • Develop and meet weekly milestones and risk/issues and report status to leadership, to ensure delivery against planned timeline

Strong preference for Charlotte and San Francisco locations; however, other locations within the Wells Fargo footprint may be considered. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in organizational effectiveness, change management and/or related HR field
  • Experience working on cross-functional, large-scale change management and workforce, transformation initiatives, plus ability to influence without direct authority and support virtual team to achieve successful business outcomes
  • Strong, fluent, relationship builder, with flexible approach, used to leading teams and executives through complex, change management experiences
  • Experience in program design, needs assessment, performance measurement and evaluation, process improvement, team and consulting skills with the ability to work in a diverse work group
  • Ability to work independently and produce high quality deliverables
