Billing Support Specialist


Dealertrack, a Cox Automotive Brand, is currently looking for a Billing Support Specialist, to join our CorporateFinance team in Lake Success, NY.

Job Summary:

The Billing Support Specialist contributes to company objectives by providing frontline, billing-related service and call support to internal and external clients as well as partners and vendors. 

The Billing Support team is the first line of contact for customers with billing related questions and interacts with all other Accounting Operations teams, including Contracts Processing, Accounts Receivable, Billing Ops, and Collections as well as the F&I, DMS, and other Business leaders and Sales teams.

Your Role:

  • Answer inbound inquiries, via phone and email, from external and internal clients related to Billing
  • Reviewing, understanding, and conversing with clients regarding their contract terms, invoicing, and accounts receivable balances
  • Presenting information to clients clearly and concisely as well as documenting this information appropriately in Salesforce and SAP
  • Collaborate within the Finance Team (Contracts, Accounts Receivable, Billing Ops, and Collections) as well as other internal teams (e.g. Sales, Retention, Business Leadership) as needed to resolve all client inquiries)


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Customer Service Experience:  2-4 yrs
  • Experience in the Auto Retailing industry preferred
  •  Experience with Salesforce and SAP preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred
  • Must be able to multitask and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to stay calm in high pressure situations, and speak confidently to internal and external clients
